I am Chester James Guitering Alibania, a 22-year-old hailing from the beautiful and bustling city of Tuguegarao, which is often referred to as the "Heat of the North." He is a driven individual who has faced obstacles and challenges but has emerged stronger and more resilient as a result. Throughout his high school journey, he constantly challenged himself to be the best version and pushed beyond his limits to achieve his academic goals.
He completed his senior year of high school with flying colors. Attending the prestigious Cagayan National High School, he was able to excel academically and emerge as a high honor student. Being recognized as a high honor student was a testament to his hard work, determination, and unwavering commitment to excellence. He had his sights set on becoming a chemical engineer at the prestigious University of the Philippines, but unfortunately, his UPCAT grade fell short of the requirement for the course. Undeterred, he remained steadfast in his pursuit of higher education.
At the age of 18, he decided to take on a new challenge and enrolled in the Philippine National Police Academy. This was a significant milestone for him, as it marked his first foray into the world of independence, away from the comfort and security of his family. He had no idea what to expect, but he was determined to succeed. While he encountered numerous failures and setbacks along the way, he remained steadfast in his faith and belief that everything happens for a reason. Each failure made him stronger and more determined to achieve his goals.
He has a supportive family that inspires and encourages him to pursue his dreams. His parents, in particular, have taught him valuable lessons about life's true value and meaning. Their guidance and unwavering work ethic have shaped him into a self-driven, dedicated individual. Failures are not a curse in his eyes; instead, he views them as opportunities to learn, grow, and be better.
