RULE #1: Never Outshine the Master

In addition, I believe that it's also important to recognize and celebrate one's strengths and accomplishments and to use them to benefit the organization and its goals. If someone is particularly talented or skilled in a certain area, it's only natural that they would want to showcase that expertise and contribute to the team's success. By holding back or downplaying their abilities, they might be missing out on opportunities to grow, learn, and make a meaningful impact in their work.

In conclusion, I think the key to navigate this principle is to strike a balance between being confident and assertive in one's abilities while also being respectful and mindful of others' feelings and expectations. It's important to recognize that showing respect for one's superiors does not mean hiding one's talents or downplaying one's achievements, but rather finding ways to use those strengths to benefit the team and organization as a whole. By doing so, one can build positive relationships with colleagues and superiors while also advancing their own career goals and personal growth.
